Drug use on property
Dear Management, I am submitting this letter to formally report two separate incidents involving American Retail Supply employee Christine Ellerman that I personally witnessed on company property. The first incident occurred approximately two weeks prior to September 16, 2026. On that occasion, I observed Ms. Ellerman inside a gray Nissan Pathfinder on American Retail Supply property. I observed her smoking from what appeared to be a methamphetamine pipe. The second incident occurred on September 16, 2026, at an unknown time. I again observed Ms. Ellerman inside what appeared to be the same gray Nissan Pathfinder on American Retail Supply property. I observed her holding and smoking from a glass pipe that, based on its appearance, I believed to be a methamphetamine pipe. After Ms. Ellerman noticed that I was looking in her direction, she made an obscene hand gesture toward me, yelled at me to “quit staring,” and subsequently behaved in a manner that I perceived as erratic. Following this interaction, I returned to my vehicle with my children, entered the vehicle, locked the doors, and left the property. I am reporting only what I personally observed. I cannot independently confirm the substance contained in or used with the pipe. I am therefore requesting that American Retail Supply investigate these incidents and determine whether further action is warranted. Because the reported conduct occurred on company property and was observed on two separate occasions, I believe management should be made aware of the situation so that it can be appropriately investigated and any applicable workplace safety policies can be addressed. As a result of these incidents, I do not intend to return to this location for future business needs. I previously attempted to contact Human Resources by telephone regarding this matter but did not receive a return call. I am therefore submitting this complaint in writing to ensure that there is a documented record of the incidents and that the information reaches the appropriate management or Human Resources personnel. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
