I personally know the owner of American Gun Trader. He's been working on this project for years and it has been a serious passion of his. He's being going the extra mile to make sure this website has the firearm enthusiast in mind; respecting privacy, ensuring legitimate listings, and avoiding scams. He's taken his time to get this website up and I've talked to him about how hard it is to ensure a secure site for legitimate firearms transactions while protecting the privacy of users. Every listing is manually reviewed to ensure its authenticity. I know other sites have had issues with transactions, refunds, etc. are processed then reviewed. There's not another platform that is using all tools available to make sure users of it are protected from malicious people and organizations.

Listings are manually reviewed and approved, contact info is redacted, off-platform communication is blocked, and there are clear safeguards in place to prevent fraud.
