From New Zealand, this ad was on Stuff.co.nz which is the national news website. “55,000 visa’s available to Kiwis”. They called me wanting me to answer more questions to see if I ‘qualify’ (after I had already ‘qualified’ by giving them a lot of personal information and all my credit card details, resume, family names and personal details) and this raised some red flags. I’ve cancelled my card and doing chargeback. Update 29 November 2024: Since this review they refunded me (if they didn’t, the bank said they would have done the chargeback) and emailed me the below. The definition of “libel” is ‘ a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation’. There is nothing false about my review. I have done a lot of research on this company and I still don’t recommend them. “We are reaching out to address a review that you left on trustpilot. Our team attempted to solve this matter by communicating through the site, however there was no response from your side. Therefore a refund was already issued, so at this point the matter is considered resolved. Given that your request for a refund was met, the continuous presence of the review at this point is considered libel. So, we kindly ask that you remove the review and confirm doing so in writing. Your immediate attention to this matter is greatly appreciated, Respectfully, Americangc.com Legal Department”
