Leap ahead is better than zen 9

Waiting 3 months for a Ryzen 3400G. In no other industry could a company get away with such awful customer service and order fulfilment. This is really impacting my climate science research now.

I like my RX580, but I would not recommend buying an AMD GPU. The issue is the poor OpenGL performance with their Windows drivers. The FPS are bad, it should not be hard to get Minecraft to run with 60FPS on 1080p, ReLive won't record fullscreen OpenGL applications such as Minecraft, the game will often crash the whole system, Shaders won't work, etc. If you are like me, and Minecraft is pretty much the only game you play, then this is just sad. But my biggest issue is, that the problem is just ignored by AMD. There are tons of bug reports online for this issue, but AMD just refuses to update it. And I refuse to give them my money in the future, if customers issues are just ignored. I will never buy an AMD card again. My CPU is amazing though (Ryzen 7 3700X)

I got a Threadripper 1900X in Feb 2020 and after 3 months it failed in March, everyone told me including AMD CPU's NEVER fail,. anyway after testing on 3 different motherboards over 2 months found out it was the CPU so 3 months after starting the case with AMD and going back to the supplier and the supplier sent the CPU back the AMD that was 2 months ago, today I got a replacement CPU WITHOUT the Orange Cartage Support that is used to install the CPU in the motherboard correctly, how do i test the replacement CPU ? if it doesn't work will AMD blame me for not installing it correctly ? ( it's the safety device to make SURE you install the CPU correctly),. the supplier was even shocked at this ?! you can't get them on Ebay or anyway they are connect to the CPU for LIFE no one separates them, I sent my old CPU back with the Cartage support (it's a 50cent part) the reply so far is "that support ticket is closed" and 2nd email said "Talk to the supplier" (clearly didn't read my email) where is the supplier going to get one from ? My first AMD CPU since being a Intel guy for 20 years. Really not happy with AMD support in anyway. so far 9 months dealing with a AMD faulty CPU.

Die Hardware von AMD ist soweit gut, der Service jedoch unterirdisch schlecht. Ich musste lernen, dass man besser ein wenig mehr für eine NVIDIA - Karte ausgibt, dann aber auch bekommt, was einem versprochen wurde. AMD hält leider nicht was sie versprechen. Schade. Sie versuchen Kunden mit Lockangeboten anzuwerben, liefern dann jedoch nur die Hälfte. Kontaktiert man dann den Service von AMD bekommt man die AGB zurückgeschickt, selbst wenn man im Recht ist. Ich rate jedem davon ab in AMD Hardware zu investieren, ausser er ist sich des Risikos eines sehr schlechten und nicht kundenorientierten Services bewusst.

es war absolut unmöglich eine 6800 oder 6800XT zu kaufen. kam immer "seite nicht gefunden" Außerdem sind Preise der 6800XT absolut nicht konkurrenzfähig mit Nvidias RTX 3080. Mindfactory und co. hat 6800 für 689€ verkauft mehr als 6800XT normaleweise kosten soll. 649€ fast so viel wie 3080 aber komplett ohne Promospiel, und verliert lächerlich gegen 3080 in DLSS und RTX Spielen. Auch ohne DLSS und RTX verliert deutlich in 4k Auflösung gegen 3080. Was bringen die 16 GB Videospeicher wenn die Karte in 4k langsamer ist als 3080 mit nur 10 GB ? Außerdem ist RTX 3080 dreimal so schnell wie RX 6800XT in Control mit DLSS und RTX. Einzigste Grund eine 6800XT jetzt versuchen zu kaufen ist das man keine 3080 bekommen hat (bekommen kann) AMD hatte noch weniger Karten als Nvidia zum Verkauf.

I purchased a Computer through IBuyPower.com and with the package I got included a game download. The game wouldn't be released for a few months. Once the game was released I went to download the game and find that AMD has a clause you are supposed use the coupon ahead of time. Why would anyone attempt to download a game before it's released? Good question, probably so AMD doesn't have pay for it. Customer service is awful.
