IS AMAZON SCAMMING CUSTOMERS
Another day ordering from Amazon and being scammed yet again. I’m a none Prime customer. Today I’m buying two products amounting to £55.94 which qualifies for free delivery as I’m over £35.00. I normally play about with my order as £4.99 P&P is added with no free delivery option available to select. By deleting a product then adding back on sometimes P&P doesn’t get added but most times it does and I normally just carry on with my order and pay the £4.99. I then got thinking that this happens most of my orders I’m getting charged extra P&P. So today I decided to call Amazon to find out why I was getting scammed and potentially other customers as well. Got through to Ohas who was polite and tried to help as much as he could. I explained about my products being over £55.94 but being charged £4.99 P&P asking why. He had a look at my account and to see that I have two products in my basket. He then text a link for me to click on so that I can send a screenshot of the P&P charge of £4.99. I started the process then released does that mean he has access to my camera roll so I stopped doing what I was doing and said I’m not doing that as he could not confirm if he had full access of photos. I said I was able to send screenshots of the extra charge of £4.99 to a email address. I was put on hold until he found out if i was allowed to do this. On hold for 13 minutes, he came back to say that this was not possible to do. I was surprised by this as everyone has access to email. He then said that he will do the order on his side to see what the price would be and it did add on P&P off £4.99. He went on to say that P&P was added on due to a shipping cost. I said that’s not true as I deleted the copper bracelet which left the mobile charger at £29.00 and surprisingly no P&P . I added copper bracelet back into basket, you would think that P&P would be added back on to the bracelet but no it was added on the mobile charger instead again with no option to select for free delivery lol. I couldn’t believe it. Again Ohas said it’s a shipping charge. I said it can’t be a shipping charge as the products are already in the U.K. as there’s a option to select for next day delivery on both products. If they weren’t in the U.K you would have to use the Starship Enterprise going at warp speed 9 to be delivered on time. Ohas said he understands my frustration but nothing more he can do even though he gets the same P&P when ordering from his side. Then the call ended. I’ve tried different options with different products and alway get the same result off get charged for P&P for products over £35.00. Amazon make billions every years so what’s the need to scam customers 🤯 🤯
