If I could give amazon's publication services a negative 1-star, I would. For the editing part of what they can do, they run it through AI and don't bother to catch grammar typos that AI makes. They don't really reorganize or do any "ghost" writing. More egregiously, the upload to Kindle Publishing Direct - their online publication service - is atrocious, and frankly, nobody should pay amazon for this service because you can do the upload yourself for free! And lastly, they feign courteous correspondence... when you get an email from them, but they will go weeks without responding to their customers. Highly unprofessional, not sophisticated, waste of money. Was working with them over the span of 2 years only to have our project turn out poorly and need to take it back into own hands to complete.

While the financial aspect has been resolved, the lack of professional courtesy and transparency from Amazonbookpublications remains a glaring issue. To those considering Amazonbookpublications for their publishing needs, I urge you to proceed with caution. Would not recommend. They are very friendly and helpful at the beginning. And if they think you will do more business they are extremely helpful. But in the end they are not responsive, it's been two months and my copies that are part of the package have still not been ordered for me. It takes a week for a response and usually not with a full answer. I would not recommend for a new author. Just not worth the frustration.
