I initially reviewed this company as not being impressed with their services. However, Allison & Taylor have now impressed me. They performed the reference check on my former employer as advertised and have been extremely helpful and patient with my case, as well as thorough in both their reference check and in my personal background check to ensure that my former employer was not bad-mouthing me and that my background was clear of any mistakes. A very special thank you to Alex and Jeff for really going the extra mile! I cannot thank you enough. I still do not have an answer as to what is happening with my current employment situation, but thanks to Allison & Taylor, I have at least 2 things that I can cross off my list (a former employer, and proof of a clear background). I still have a lot of leg-work to do to solve this issue, but I would like to thank Allison & Taylor for taking those initial first steps with me. Personally, I would recommend that everyone use the services of checking former employers whether there is an issue or not, simply to let ALL employers know that they are not any kind of authority and that we are all on EQUAL footing. This would put an end to workplace bullying/violence/bad-mouthing because, without employees, they have nothing. They must be reminded of this.

I am very much satisfied with your service and will use again when needed and definitely recommend if anyone I know needs such help. suggestion: I also wanted to find out if your service include how to check if an employee wanted to know what kind of feedback i being given about the employee by the employer - not a specific person. For example, if the potential employer, might try to reach out to the past employer even before asking the employee for for a specific reference. I was looking for such an option in your menu but did not find one.

My rep at Allison & Taylor (Liz Henry) really went above and beyond to help me with my case. She spent a good amount of time on the phone with me explaining the ins and outs of references from the employer's perspective, what's normal and what's not, and what the results of my reference check meant for my job search, as well as answering my many questions. I had been assuming that someone would just recite the results of the reference check to me, but instead, I felt like she was truly on my team and was going out of her way to give me what I needed to succeed in my job search. In my case, the reference turned out to not be a problem, and I learned a lot about the reference process as a whole. Absolutely worth the money, will definitely use this company again if I ever have questions about a reference.
