Bad Business Practices
Tried to charge us $10/day after the 30 day rental expired. We never received an email, call, or text letting us know the rental was going to expire and they would begin charging $10/day if we need it additional days. We were done with it after a few weeks and thought they would come and pick it up when the 30 days was over. In a prior rental with another company, they didn’t pick up their unit for weeks after the rental period was over stating it was because they didn’t need it. So, like the other company, I figured the same thing was occurring. The unit sat in my yard around 3 months. They finally called us. I asked if they would be picking up the unit any time soon and she got all over me stating I agreed to a $10/day charge after the initial 30 day rental expired. While it is true that there was wording alluding to this charge, it would be charged “if needed”, which we did not. I told them they should have come and picked up their unit when the 30 days expired or at least called to see if it was ready to be picked up…super sneaky…I was threaten after telling them I would not pay the extra charges. She said she was the owner’s daughter and she could just dump everything out into our yard, stating we had a balance. I replied we paid the 30 days in advance and she said the extra day fees are outstanding. I remained in my solvency, even after she said I was a bad Christian. She said she was a good christian, agreed to us not having to pay the daily charges, said the relationship is severed, and then suggested that we better not be at our personal home when they come pick up their unit. Her aggression, threats, and rudeness were extremely unprofessional. It was completely obvious that she dropped the ball and was looking to place blame. We do not recommend
