I recently bought an Alex Evenings gown at a local Nordstrom. It was only after I purchased it that I realized a button was missing. I contacted Alex Evenings customer service and was told that they don't stock extra buttons, fabric or beading and that perhaps a skilled seamstress could find a matching button. This was pretty disappointing considering I paid close to $300 for the dress.

Ordered and received a dress two days ago. Website reports 14 day return policy and return cannot be done without contacting them via email. I have emailed twice, completed an online form under “contact” and called twice. No response. Their website does not list where returns are to be sent. Awful CS. Way too much hassle for a dress that is unappealing in person.
