A wave of sickening realization crashed…
A wave of sickening realization crashed over me. It all started on Telegram. I connected with someone who offered to show me the ropes of DeFi node operation. To build trust, they forwarded 13.73 BNB to my wallet to register on their platform. I followed their lead, traded, and actually withdrew 21.75 BNB. Convinced it was real, they urged me to scale up. I risked money borrowed from family totaling $680,152. My dashboard skyrocketed to $6,796,400. Thrilled, I attempted to pull out $5,208,091, only to be hit with a 7% VIP upgrade amounting to $364,566. Desperate, I scrambled to pay it, relying on my previous successful withdrawal as proof it worked. Then came a demand for a 20% risk control deposit. The illusion shattered. I contacted authorities who pointed me to a digital forensics firm(Fiscop Advisor). Their investigators tracked the BNB straight to a decentralized mixer, identified the culprit's bank details, and successfully recovered the stolen funds.
