Dissapointed with Aimpoint Quality & Warranty
I purchased a used Aimpoint Micro H-1 optic thinking, "this will be the last red dot I will need" but was I mistaken. It was my last Aimpoint but not for the reasons I wanted. After being poorly constructed with a windage turret that didn't track properly, I asked if it could be repaired and to my surprise the warranty only applies to the original owner and NOT transferable to the next owner(s). Plus (this is the kicker) if I did decide to send it in for repairs and Aimpoint would/could not repair it there would be an added $300 shipping cost to whatever the charge(s) were already. That's correct, that's $300 and not $30. I don't normally wright reviews but had to let ppl know this so that they don't make the same mistake. You'd think the prices Aimpoint charges for their optics they should do a alot better? ! Wish I had gone with another brand like Eotech, Holosun that have no Qs asked or client friendly warranties. This Aimpoint is just a paper weight now. 😔
