AIFS AbroadReviews of aifsabroad.com

AIFS provided me with a once in a lifetime opportunity and I will forever be grateful to them. The arrangements they provided with travel and accommodations were great and they went above and beyond when my flight home got canceled and rescheduled! I recommend AIFS to everyone who is considering study abroad!

I studied abroad with AIFS during the Spring Semester 2015 in Athens, Greece. I had one of the best experiences of my life and because of these experiences I am taking my parents to Greece with me to show them the country that was my home for 5 months. Studying abroad is an invaluable experience that will stick with you for a life time. When else will you have multiple months to pack up everything and live in a foreign country, learn a new language, and travel to countries you have only read about? If you have ever considered studying abroad do it...the worst thing that could happen is that you fall in love with being abroad and decide to stay for another semester. AIFS ensures that you have a local in country that will assist you along the way and so if this is your first time living abroad you can rest assured that you are never really "alone."

I studied abroad in Grenoble, France and had an amazing experience there; the faculty were wonderful, the classes were challenging but effective, the additional activities were fun, and - most importantly - the resident director was amazing. She made us all feel at home and was there for us no matter what we needed.

My semester in Prague provided me with so many unforgettable experiences and has inspired more travel to even further places. The staff at AIFS Prague helped make my transition to living in a foreign country easy by setting up local excursions and activities to expand my comfort in my new home. Overall, the company was amazingly supportive and I would recommend AIFS to anyone interested in study abroad. With the fairytale location, affordable pubs, endless travel opportunities and friendships that will last a lifetime, you can't go wrong with choosing this program.

I recommend AIFS to anyone interested in studying abroad! The package included everything that I needed, even meals and excursions throughout the semester. Programs are a great value, once I was abroad it felt like everything was already taken care of so I could really focus on getting acclimated to the new culture. I also felt very secure in a new country knowing that if I ever needed anything, there was an AIFS staff member at the local office who could help me! I had such a great experience in Spain that I studied abroad with AIFS the next semester in Costa RIca too!

AIFS not only cares about you during your study abroad experience, offering the utmost support and flexibility, but also continues to follow up with you afterwards on your experience, and invites you into the AIFS alumni family. No study abroad organization can beat AIFS in quality, hands down.

Studying abroad in Grenoble, France with AIFS is the best decision I have ever made! My host family was so kind and helpful, and I loved being surrounded by the mountains. My professors at the University really helped with my understanding of the language and building my fluency. The program director also had many fun excursions planned, so there was always something fun to do!

AIFS was there for every step! Before I went, they were very responsive and helpful. In Spain, the program directors were always willing to help out. Orientation made a lot of sense, right from the moment they picked me up in London. They were never too far out of reach, and they got to know a lot of us really well as people. They did just the right amount of planned activities for us, so that I could go travel on my own or go with the program if I so chose. They provided lots of options for us to practice our Spanish by volunteering or doing Intercambios. Seriously, no one had any excuse for not making friends from the university because we had so many outlets. And they have some awesomehost family connections! That was probably the best part for me. If it comes down to cost, I know some other programs may be cheaper than AIFS. But from what I've seen, AIFS is well worth the experience you will have with them. And other friends from my college have said the same about their travels in Dublin, Salzburg, Granada, etc.
