I was unbelievably lucky to study abroad through AIFS - from their fun filled cultural activities, weekend excursions and overall sense of community that AIFS instills made my experience one of a kind! What stood out to me the most with AIFS was how helpful they were every step of the way - the constant communication beforehand made my application process a breeze, which continued throughout my entire program. The program I was in gave us access to unparalleled cultural activities such as partaking in cooking classes, going to the ballet, entry and tours to countless museums, biking around Rome, as well as several thought out and exciting weekend excursions. I was able to have the semester of a lifetime, and I have AIFS to thank!

I could not be happier with my AIFS experience, it made my study abroad time enjoyable, comfortable, and unforgettable. The staff was always there when I needed, my home stay was way better than I could have imagined, and the excursions were organized.

My experience with AIFS was phenomenal. I was supported from the very thought of studying abroad, throughout the process of doing so. Not only did AIFS provide me with an amazing support system of people, but an experience unlike any other. They offered excursions to further my understanding of the country I was in, and even excursions into other countries. I felt that the AIFS team became a second family to me and I’m forever thankful for the program.

I’m so glad I studied abroad through AIFS because it was extremely easy and organized. Flights and accommodation were all taken care of for us which made it so enjoyable. Over the course of the semester I met incredible people and teachers at my school and made lifelong memories!

Great program with many in program opportunities for trips, outings, crafts, and getting involved with Florence community and culture. Matched us up with great apartments in great locations in Florence. AIFS staff was wonderful and very helpful. The program activities helped us all bond, and the meal plan is something that separates this program vastly, from others. It is a very organized program with great opportunities. The only complaints I would have would be that there isn't a huge variety in schools of where students come from, and they grade a little harshly for an abroad program, where there are language and learning style barriers. Overall, I would recommend this program to a friend.
