AIFS AbroadReviews of aifsabroad.com

I had the best time ever on my semester abroad. I went to Berlin at Humboldt U. It is such a fun city and AIFS really set us up with tours and really fun activities. It was also a very affordable option. I learned a lot, made so many friends and made memories for life.

I had an incredible study abroad experience in Rome, thanks to this outstanding, organized, and experienced company. They provided us with a fantastic apartment in the heart of the city and right next door to the campus in Campo de'Fiori. They do an amazing job organizing excursions to Florence, Napoli, Capri and more. They provide enough time and freedom to travel, while also offering personal tours and cooking classes. I made some great friends, had unforgettable experiences, and will always cherish the time I spent in Rome.

AIFS was fantastic!! I spent WEEKS researching to find the perfect program and AIFS was the easy choice and did not disappoint. From flight planning and airport transfer assistance to orientation and culture shock assistance, they did all they could to make the transition easy. My apartment was very cozy and rather noisy but at no fault of the program, and it was centrally located in a great area of the city. My walk to school was only 15 minutes and all of the living accommodations were within walking distance of the school. I felt very comfortable and supported, and resources were always available for any needs. When my laptop crashed when I was there, the program managers were extremely helpful and hands on. The included excursions were amazing, and so organized and fun. The classes were great and all centered around a unique aspect of the surrounding florentine culture, which really helped me immerse in the community and get the most out of my experience living in Italy. My favorite part of the program was by far the meal plan. It was excellent, all of the restaurants were authentic and amazing! We made friends with waiters and had favorite menu items, and I always had enough vouchers to get me through each month. I would absolutely recommend a program with AIFS to anyone studying abroad!

AIFS was so well organized but also gave you the freedom to explore. I had the best semester by far that I ever have in college and it wouldn’t have been possible without the awesome people at AIFS. We went to Florence and Torrence and all of us became such great friends. My roommates and I still talk, there are hundreds of stories I have from my abroad semester in rome, I would really encourage anyone who wants to go abroad to go with AIFS. We also had the best housing location of any abroad program BY FAR, no other program can compete with AIFS housing.

I loved AIFS. The housing abroad in Florence was perfect and beat any expectations. The professors at the school were so awesome and kind. Everyone who worked for AIFS was helpful and made everything seamless. I felt safe and everything was organized. I loved my abroad experience with AIFS

I studied abroad in Florence, Italy during the Spring 2023 semester. To say that I loved this experience would be an understatement. It was the best time of my life! The AIFS Staff is so kind and accommodating which made the experience great!

I studied abroad with AIFS in Buenos Aires, Argentina during Spring 2020. This was unfortunately when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, and I was recalled to the US after about 6 weeks in Argentina. During this time on-site AIFS staff were incredibly supportive, and kept in touch with me as I had to navigate uncertainty, and even during my online semester. I was still able to complete all of my coursework and stay on track to graduate which I am also incredibly grateful for. The AIFS program in Argentina is not as popular as some of their programs in Spain or Italy, but I think that allowed for us to have a smaller group of participants, and gave us a more personal experience of the city. I love the food, the people, the language, and the culture, and am grateful AIFS helped me during the pandemic.

I'm so glad I chose to go abroad with a company like AIFS who provided me with constant guidance before, during, and after my time abroad. Thanks to their comprehensive team, I always felt taken care of and safe. The Resident Director at my program location always went above and beyond and I can honestly say my experience would not have been the same without her expertise and support!
