I've bought a few things from adsit in the past and had 5 star service every time. This time was different. They sent the wrong item. And after going a week without my car and then finding out I had the wrong item and it would take another week to receive the correct part I was not a happy camper. I will say though that the rep I talked with was very professional and immediately got the correct item sent out .

I searched the Internet for a "refurbished" ac fan. I thought that was what I was getting. So, imagine my shock when it came dirty, electrical connectors cut, and dented to the point of needing to scab other parts off of the fan we were trying to replace. Simply not what expected

I was happy with price, delivery time and product availability but new hood had defects in the center (dimples) that cost me and extra $54 for removal before hood was painted. I had to decide whether to return this large item for another, risking a similar problem or pay to have body shop repair the defect. The body shop recommended repair and I agreed. So I decided to pay them the additional $54 but obviously was less than happy.

I was somewhat disappointed that gift items offered for sale on the website were not available. Then I was happy that an effort was made to make up for that, but when the gift watch arrived it did not work, so whatever I saved in shipping I spent in getting a new battery put in to make the watch work.

The first issue was the long shipping time, it was indicated to be 3-5 business days but went into the sixth business day before it even left the warehouse. Fed ex called to arrange delivery but was closed from December 23rd until Dec 29th. So it was nearly two weeks in delivery. When I received the fender it was scratched with rust in more than one long scratch and two small dings in the fender. This cost me an extra $100 in preparation to fix these issues. Just not a good experience.

Benjamin, Thank you for your business and your review. I think there may be some confusion regarding your order. You placed your order online at 9:50 PM on 12-14-14. Naturally we where closed at that time and the order was processed the next morning of the 15th. The fender was then packaged and shipped two days later on the 12-17-14. I am not sure where you got the six days for the part to ship. According to Fedex they tried to deliver it on 12-23-14, but you declined the delivery for that day. Due to the national holiday of Christmas Fedex Freight was closed on the 24th, 25th, and 26th. The 27th and 28th was the weekend and then the package was then delivered on the 29th. Unfortunately we have no control over Fedex Freight and their Holiday hours. We are very sorry for any delay that the Christmas Holiday may have caused. As far as the scratches and dents go many times sheet metal will have minor scratches and dents from shipping and storage. We try to inspect every item before shipping. We also insure all packages in case of any damaged caused in shipping. All parts are warranted against defects and or damages. If there are any issues we will gladly exchange or replace any defective or damaged merchandise. In this case you have already had the repairs done without contacting us first. We can not resolve any issues we are not made aware of. In and effort to resolve this issue we would be more than happy to work with you and issue a credit towards your next purchase. Again we are sorry for any hassle or delay the Holidays and Fedex Holiday hours may have caused. All damages are warranted, but have to be reported and handled before repairs are made and product installed on the car. We hope a credit towards your next purchase is a satisfactory resolution. I bought a used motor for my 1985 300sd. The ad said all used motors on sale for $950. I was told that they had a perfect match to my motor. It arrived a lot more stripped down that expected. Why did they remove turbo, vacuum pump and oil lines? This added many hours to my project and really wasn't a complete engine. One bolt on the alternator was frozen and several more hours were spent removing and replacing. Worst of all the engine mounts arms were not a match and I didn't discover this until lowering the engine into my vehicle. Awful frustrating. Upon calling them I was told the oil filter did not match either and it needed to be swapped. These parts swaps were very time consuming and had to be completed after lowering into the vehicle. It would have been much better to just warm me verbally and in writing what was going to need to be done. In fairness they were very nice about it when I called. Reese was great, but my situation could have been much better. I feel like I paid too much for what I actually received. I suggest a credit of $400-500 which would match the price offered on the internet catalog when I ordered.

Dear Adsitco, Thank you for responding via email...yes the company was very helpful when I contacted you by phone explaining the color issue and yes you did say at no charge. When I returned them, I was charged $17 and did not know how that would be reimbursed or if it really would. It is 12/20/14 and have not rec'd the mats yet. I realize shipping will be delayed due to the holidays so I was holding out a good opinion until this was settled. I responded to the request to rate your company and was explaining my circumstances like I thought I was supposed to do on the website. I apologize if it was not well received and if this experience turns out positive in the end, I will be glad to share this whole experience. TERI, We are extremely sorry for any hassle that this order mix up has caused. On 11-25-14 we did receive your order requesting the black floor mats. Unfortunately Mercedes does not actually sell a Black floor mat for your car. They call it Dark Ash or Anthracite. In this case we sent the dark ash mats. On 12-1-14 you called and stated you had received the wrong color. That same day we took your VIN# to see what color the car came out of the factory with. Naturally your car had the Anthracite mats. As we agreed upon you sent the mats back to us. We received them this past Monday 12-15-14. We then special ordered your Anthracite mats for you and they are being shipped to you at no charge. You should receive them in the next few days. As of today 12-17-14 we have not heard from you regarding this issue. We did not know that you wanted a follow up phone call regarding the exchange. As explained to you during the phone call on 12-1-14, we would send the exchange mats back to you at no charge when the wrong mats where received. We have done just that. We did not know you needed a follow up and are very sorry for any confusion. We hope this resolve any issues you may have.
