James, We are very sorry for the hassle and delay on completing this order. We did have one in stock at the time of your call, but another had been sold previous to receiving your order. The door lock vacuum pumps are a quick moving item for us. We did immediately get cores sent to the rebuilder the same day you called. Your rebuild pump has been shipped and should be delivered today 9-11-14. Again all I can say is this is not an acceptable delivery according to our standards. When our staff went to fill the order it was not there. We placed a stock order with the manufacture. Unfortunately it did take way to long to fill your order. Noel, Thank you for your honest response and review! I think there is a bit of confusion here. You ordered and requested an OEM part. We sent you an OEM Bosch part. Bosch is the OEM manufacture for this part. When your car came out of the factory it had this same Bosch part on it. You then requested one from Mercedes. This too would be a Bosch part in a MB box. It is unfortunate that our cost from Mercedes Benz is much higher than our cost from Bosch. In this case to exchange the Bosch part for the Mercedes Part would cost more. As of today you have declined the exchange and have not returned the Bosch part for refund. At this time I am uncertain of what you would like to do. You have declined the exchange and no parts have been returned for refund. We would love to have the opportunity to make this a happy experience and earn your future business. Hamid, Thank you for your review, but something simply does not sound right. Please contact us if there really is an issue. You order 30 plus year old used hood, fender, grill, and headlights. The 107 parts are extremely universal. Is there anyway you can email us the VIN# to make sure you actually have a 81 450SLC? Second I would assume there was a front end collision of some sort that is requiring the replacement of the hood, grill, fenders, and headlights. The only way that none of these parts fit your car is if you do not have the car the parts where ordered for or if the frame or something is bent from the front end collision. Either way we can not resolve any issues that we have not been notified of. We have reviewed your order and no washers or screws where ordered. No washers or screws come with the parts you had ordered. You also stated there was some rust on some of the parts. First if the metal is not painted and sits it can develop surface rust over a years time. Also please take into consideration that you did buy 30 plus year old used parts.
