George, Thank you for your order for the used rear bumper for your 1986 300E for $150. We are in Muncie, Indiana. You have requested the bumper, a rather large item, to be shipped to you in Kihei, Hawaii. Shipping charges to you in Hawaii are over $2200. We have tried emailing and calling you regarding these shipping fees. At this time we have not received a response. We simply did not feel comfortable charging your credit card the additional $2200 in shipping without authorization from you on a $150 used bumper. Yes orders are processed as received. The Chrome hood star for your car was out of stock at the time of your order. We did have a stock order placed with our supplier. The stock order was received from Germany on 1-23-17. We shipped your order to you that same day and shows to have been delivered the next day. Please read and review this again: Shipping Charges Most items ship ground shipping. Normal shipping fees apply. Oversize and heavy shipments will be shipped freight and are subject to additional charges. Return packages must be sent shipping charges prepaid. COD packages will not be accepted. Insuring your return shipment is recommended. Adsit Company will not be responsible for any lost or damaged returns. For a shipping quote on your order please call 1-800-521-7656 or e-mail us at [email protected]. This clearly states that oversize order are shipped freight and are subject to additional charges. It also states to call us for a shipping quote if you are unsure. I assume you did not call for a shipping quote on this oversize freight order as suggested. Again on the checkout process is states shipping charges (if you have received a quote enter it here or call 800 521 7656 for a shipping quote). Again we are trying to let our customers know that if they have any questions about how much shipping is going to be they should call us. We in no way want our customers to be surprised by the shipping cost of their orders. We have a complete phone staff answering the phones all day to assist with any questions. All you have to do is give us a call and we will do everything we can to address any issue or questions you may have. Our goal is to resolve or prevent any issues as quickly as possible. Richard, First I want to apologize for any hassle the delay in this order may have caused you. Your order was placed online on Monday August 29th. Your order was processed that same day. Yes the product you had ordered was out of stock at the time, but was on it's way to us from our supplier. Once we received the product it was shipped to you by Fedex and delivered to you on Thursday. Please be reminded your order had already shipped at the time you requested to cancel your order. The terms and conditions agreed to online clearly states parts can be returned for refund less a restocking fee. We strive to fill every order as quickly as possible. Patrick, First I want to apologize for any hassle the delay in this order may have caused you. Please be reminded you did place your order online on the evening of Thursday August 25th. You then contacted us on Friday the 26th regarding shipping prices and options to you in Fairbanks, Alaska. That same day we contacted several shipping companies to get shipping quotes from us Indian to you in Alaska. On Monday the 29th you confirmed you wanted us to ship the package to you by US MAIL. At that time the order was processed. Your order was then shipped by US Mail as requested on September 1st. I assume the balance of the time was shipping time from Indiana to Alaska. Again we are very sorry for the delay that the distance to you may have caused. We try to process each order as quickly and effectively as possible. Unfortunately some large or heavy packages going to Alaska can be tricky. We try to confirm shipping charges and time frames on such orders to avoid surprise. I have reviewed your account and I do not see that you have contacted us regarding any issues with your order. We can not correct problems we are not made aware of. All used parts come with a 60 day exchange warranty! If the part is defective please call us at 1800 521 7656 and we will get this exchanged for you right away at no charge!
