Purchased an item as a Christmas gift on December 7th. As of Christmas Eve it still hasn’t shipped.

I ordered a Christmas gift (tools) for a family member. I made the order on December 3rd. When I placed the order the delivery date was December 18th. I called today to confirm delivery with the order number and I was told the items were on backorder and the estimated delivery was mid January. This is a horrible situation for a Christmas gift. I ended up cancelling the order and got a full refund. I will now be scrambling to get the tools by Christmas - if I can. I will never do business with this company again. I am just sorry I didn't see the horrendous reviews the company has on all public review sites.

They sold me a product they said was in stock. After waiting a week for a tracking number for shipment, the product never shipped. When I went back to the website it said the product was (available to order). When I called they said the product would not ship for another two months. Liars!

My recent experience with ACME Tools has been nothing short of exasperating, and I feel compelled to warn prospective customers before they consider doing business with this company. From the outset, the level of customer service I encountered was profoundly disappointing. Representatives were consistently unhelpful, curt, and in several instances outright rude when asked the simplest questions about my order. At no point did I feel that my concerns were taken seriously or that anyone was genuinely interested in resolving the issues I raised. The company’s return policy only added to the frustration. Navigating it was a tedious exercise in obstruction, marked by unclear instructions, dismissive responses, and a general unwillingness to provide meaningful solutions. Rather than standing behind the products they sell, ACME Tools seemed more focused on avoiding responsibility and deflecting accountability, leaving customers to absorb the inconvenience. To make matters considerably worse, the delivery process was appallingly slow. I waited two full months for an item that was advertised with a much shorter fulfillment time. When the package finally arrived, the product was visibly damaged, rendering it unusable. After such a prolonged wait, receiving a compromised item was both infuriating and unacceptable. In my view, ACME Tools has demonstrated a troubling disregard for customer satisfaction at every stage—from communication to shipping to after-purchase support. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before purchasing from this company and to consider alternative retailers who value professionalism, responsiveness, and basic respect for their customers.

All they do online is bait and switch.

Something very suspicious happened to me. I got a $1000+ charge on my credit card. It was immediately reversed. I got an alert for the charge. I didn’t recognize the site. I called my CC company. They claim that my actual credit card was used (not just the number). I cancelled the card and had it reissued with a new number. No harm done. But other reviews are suspiciously like the fashional.shop review that I got scammed on. Good price on name brand clothing, received a pair of children’s socks. After disputing that charge, I get an unexpected charge from acmetools, a site I’d never visited. Suspicious in the extreme.

This company shows good reviews, but they must all be fake. After delving into this further, I noticed other review sites have them at between one and two stars for shipping delays or nonexistent shipping. I ordered a snowblower from them several weeks ago that was supposed to be delivered within a few days according to them, but to this day, I have not received it and can’t get anybody to help me. I would avoid this company.

There overly loud ads is the reason why I will be boycotting ACME Tools.
