Hi Daniella, Thank you for your review on Trust Pilot. I just want to follow up with you to make sure I answer any and all questions you may have with your cello rental with us. Yes, rental instruments may have cases with scratches and nicks sometimes. However, we make sure the integrity of the case can protect the instrument. I have attached a paragraph from the Instrument Rental Agreement you signed for your review. Reconditioning Fee: All rentals per this agreement will be assessed a reconditioning fee regardless of length of rental per the following schedule; Percussion Kits, Guitars, Violins, Violas will have a reconditioning fee of $20.00. All Brass and Woodwind instruments: Piccolos, Flutes, Clarinets, Trumpets, Trombones, Alto Saxophones, Tenor Saxophones, French Horns, Baritones and Cellos will have a recondition fee of $30.
