I have never been so impressed by the honesty and commitment of a well established, confident, knowledgeable, and a straight shooting personable expert as Luis is as owner of A Better Sleep, LLC. His other reviews are just as incredible, so I am tagging on yo the chain. Luis took the time over a first phone call two do several things KNOWING that I might not be a customer of his; but, very motivated to helping people. He has discontinued working with medicare because of their limited reimbursements that would spell the demise of any business because of the lack of payments even to cover the cost of equipment at his purchasing price. One cannot remain in business under those conditions. He is recommending another supplier who does work with Medicare and BCBS not by reputation; but, by knowledge that they do or do not work with them. I appreciate that more than anything. Second, he works with two other suppliers of COAP and BiPAP machines and not with ResMed because of his firm belief that the machines he does sell are more reliable, easier to adjust to the patient, more specific in the data collected and supplied to the patient as well as the provider, and his tracking of patient’s Oro and on reviews of various solutions. Yes, I think that we would all love to have full coverage for the sleep apnea solution purchased, by any insurer; but, when you are left with a medical and patient health decision to be made, my determination and understanding will overrule any insurance provider. I’ll be honest, I have yet to review all avenues of CPAP and BiPAP suppliers and efficacy; but should I decide that my health is better served with honesty and integrity as well as efficacy, that will be my provider. It may very well be Luis at A Better Sleep, LLC. because of his dedication to the patient in the alarming world of complexity in respiratory equipment. Thank God for people like Luis !!! — Glenn Kelly
