Where to begin? 1) I am aware of the pattern of: I'll tell you what I am going to say. I'll say it. Then. I'll tell you what I said. It may be fine for kindergarteners, but insulting to adults. Get to the point. 2) Do NOT repeat so much and repeat it and repeat it in ongoing sections. 3) There is a TON of void time waiting at the end of each section. Often 10 or more seconds- for EVERY section. That adds up to a LOT of wasted time. Staying on an introductory page for 10 or more seconds is ridiculous. If someone needs that much time to process three lines of text, they should NOT be driving. 3) I don't need to know the history of driving, the car apps and devices to be a better driver. Stick to the point. 4) Perhaps there is a certain amount of teaching time required to gain accreditation, but a LOT of this material could be eliminated, and the program would not be less useful

A comment on the certificate # following completion of the AARP Smart Driver Online Course. The partial certificate number is... LvAFUCKWG Is this a bad IT joke or just an unlikely, bad coincidence? I am reluctant to provide the certificate # to my insurance company.

So boring and repetitive. Never ends. Longer than they said it would be. I would never take this course again.

Honest to God, the people who designed this course (AARP Driver Safety Course) should not be driving. They must have dementia as they repeat and review the same things for 6 or 7 hours. Do you really think people with dementia and other disabilities that would impair their decision making and reflex times can navigate the online site. The reality in Florida is that Doctors and other medical personnel who interact with people who should not be driving have an obligation to report them. They don't!

Spent 6 hours taking the AARP Smart Driver course only to find out GEICO doesn't accept it. The course is mostly common sense and older drivers should already know all of this stuff. I found the course to be quite condescending, they seriously spent time on how to put your seat belt on properly! And there were stretching exercises in there too. What a total waste of time, I learned nothing beyond the fact that AARP thinks anyone over 55 is feeble and simple-minded.

AARP Smart Driver Course Not ACCEPTED by GEICO for Delaware. I spent almost $30 and spent 6 hours of my time for nothing. The course was all common sense, I learned nothing from taking it. What a waste of time and money!

Total Scam. I signed up to evaluate some of the programs, and cannot cancel. I've emailed and called and spoken with reps multiple times.
