The support teams and other members put in very admirable effort to make you feel better. Everybody is always positive regardless of what each one of them is going through. 7 cups makes you feel heard and loved, regardless of the problem. Navigation is a little difficult, especially for listeners but regardless of that it is a very resourceful and helpful site for anyone struggling with any small issue or even a whole disorder. 7 cups changes the world for people who cannot afford any kind of therapy at all, for whatever reason. 7 cups has resources to train any volunteer that wants to give a helping hand and MOSTLY very sweet listeners that validate each of your thought and feeling. Thank you 7 cups, for making me feel heard and also accepting me into their huge team of listeners to change the world together.

I am a listener here and I have had a consistently good experience. I have spoken to a few other listeners, so I can say us in particular really care about helping everyone who comes wanting to chat.

From both a member's (people receiving support) and listener's (people who volunteer to give support) point of view I've had a really great experience with cups. Of course not all listeners are going to be the best fit for you but if you persevere, you can find some of the kindest and most well meaning people on the planet. They have really great programs and training to help you improve your active listening skills among other things. And again the majority of the community there is great. I would 100% recommend to anyone who may want someone to listen to them (although don't use this site for crisis support the listeners are not trained for that) or for anyone who would like to volunteer their time to bettering themselves and helping people feel heard along the way. For any potential new members: if you don't have the best experience with the first listener you connect to, try another one, you never know when you'll find the person who's the right match for your needs, and once you find that listener that you click with it can really make a world of difference.

The best site there is, for free mental health support. Besides 1 on 1 chats, various group support chats, sharing circles, forums and growth paths is what makes 7 cups stand above their competitors. Been here for around more than 6 years and absolutely loved my experience on the site, both as a member and listener.
