Sadly don’t trust them still after the thing was fixed. I was accused of doing something that he could not prove and was threatened by them. I gave them a warning and am waiting to see what else happens but I want from 1 star to three stars who knows maybe soon 5 stars even though I can’t do that or I would be lying. As a member and a listener make sure to not get yourself on accident or there could be big problems. Also sign out and make sure you trust the listener. GO ON TO 1 ON 1 CHAT ONLY IF YOU NEED HELP... also even though they say don’t give advice it’s hard not to that I do it once in a while and usually for minor problems that I have personally went through and had training for as well as had friends, and family have those problems. Who was the one that always ended up helping... me upon my good advice and feed back evidence to prove it. Still don’t trust much.

3 stars because the site is excellent in some ways, but really needs improvement in others. The concept is great -- free one-on-one support from a peer for anyone with a life challenge. As both a member and listener, I feel the site makes it too easy to become a listener and the overall quality of listeners is not great. I understand 7cups wants to keep wait times down, but often I have seen empty member queues. The qualifications for becoming a listener should be more rigorous to improve quality. I also think the chat rooms could be vastly improved. They're pretty much a joke, and they could be holding valuable support group meetings there if they just put a little thought into it. Finally, I think the site should emphasize peer support more, as that is the functional model. They just don't seem to realize it.
