Poor customer service, borderline scam
We signed up for an annual membership in January 2026, with the promise of a top-three placement in three categories of our choosing. When the new site went live, we were not given top three placement. 50Pros attempted to upsell on featured placement packages. We went round and round before they followed through with the guarantee that was explicitly stated on the invoice. In early July, later there was an unauthorized charge for $750, which we challenged as soon as we noticed and was refunded. But it raised suspicions given our previous experience. We immediately submitted requests to deactivate our account and refund the remaining amount on our annual subscription (roughly six months at the time). The account has been deactivated but no refund has been issued. The responses have been vague and elusive, or have pointed to back to self-service options that we've already used. No names or contact numbers are ever provided, everything goes through an anonymous @50pros.com email. Our impression is that 50Pros is a borderline scam. I will update this review if the refund is provided.
