2moversReviews of 2movers.com

My goodness. I just wanted to see some quotes on what it would cost to hire a moving company, as opposed to doing it myself. I came across 2Movers thinking they'd send me a quote themselves, and gave them my info. Big mistake. I didn't read the fine print that says they sell your information as a lead to other companies. All of them only quote over the phone, so I spent the entire day getting calls from movers all over the country trying to get me a quote - many of them pretty unprofessional. It got to the point where I had to start declining calls because, and I'm not exaggerating here, I got calls from 18 different moving companies in the span of 6 hours. I really do not need that many quotes, and it quickly became a nuisance. Ultimately its my own fault for not doing research before I filled out their form, but this definitely feels like a very shady business practice, and I would not recommend anybody use their "service". 2Movers is not a moving company, they only exist to collect and sell your data.

Just checking quotes and this was my first quote. Disconnected twice while transferring to a ‘ moving specialist” . Then transferred to another company called “ gold standard moving” . Felt like a boiler room script. Gave me quote. Asked for number to reach them after i got a couple other quotes to compare. Put me on hold and came back with a “ discount” . I again asked for the number to reach them if i select them. The individual became rude and would not provide a number. I told them I do not feel comfortable using a service I can’t call back. The person said ‘ Thank God’

DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU NEVER WANT YOUR STUFF Seriously, I don't know what else to say. Do NOT use this company. They matched us with Eagle Moving Group, who then proceeded to pick up our stuff (late) and store our stuff for weeks without our knowledge. We thought the move was in-progress, but really it was still in a warehouse 3 weeks later

One star is a lot for these people. I have been calling for the past three weeks to confirm a moving they have been giving me the run around and never called back. I never had to beg someone to give them business. Very unprofessional people and huge lack of customer service.

Don't call if you're just wanting a quote apparently it's a "waste of their time" It's my first big move across states with my military spouse and I called to inquire about prices making it clear I was just getting a quote, at the end of the call when I said I appreciated the information and may call back the man on the other end of the line Said "thank you for wasting my time" and hung up on me. Very disrespectful and ignorant.

Not a moving company. They give/sell your information to “premium” (read expensive) big movers who do not stop calling, texting, emailing. Pure affiliate scam.

Scammer site! They immediately sell your information to companies that harass you when you say you’re not interested. When I tried to call the company directly there’s a short recording and then nothing. Warning! Do not give this site your phone number!

Just the quote itself was horrible! Almost $500 to move less than a half of a room of stuff from one location to another...locally! I wish I would! And from the awful reviews I guess I dodged a bullet.
