This program is woefully misrepresented. The Gold Pattern was presented in a video conference to include a lifetime access to the course library and it isn't. Some members were given the rate of $1000 and others $8000. Then once you purchase it, you are required to get the premium package trading platform at $300+ a month! Then pay fees to paper trade and fees for testing with a "chance" of getting a funded acct. My suggestion... be upfront in writing for ALL fees. With this gross misrepresented program, I am now having to work 2 full time and 1 part time job to recoup my loss.
Response from 20 Minute TraderAug 31, 2026
We’re truly sorry for the financial stress and frustration you have experienced. After seeing your review, we examined the offer associated with your purchase so we could respond specifically.
Our records show that you purchased a program regularly priced at $3,000 for a promotional price of $997. It included ongoing mentorship from live, non-AI mentors, a free $50,000 challenge account, two additional educational services, the Gold Pattern course, and software that displays the pattern’s criteria directly on your chart. Access to these services was included for as long as your Club membership remained active, which required a separate monthly membership fee of $197.
If the presentation led you to believe that the course library would remain available for life without an active membership, then that distinction was not communicated clearly enough for you to understand that, and we apologize.
Some third-party trading and charting tools also carry fees. Depending on the tools selected, many of the additional services our traders use cost approximately $30–$50 per month. These are widely used trading tools and are not fees created or collected by 20 Minute Trader. However, that does not remove our responsibility to better clearly explain which tools are required, which are optional, and what each one may cost before someone purchases.
Although these expenses were addressed in our materials, your review, and similar feedback from others, showed us that we needed to make them even more prominent and easier to understand. We have since taken steps to clearly disclose anticipated membership, platform, challenge, and third-party tool expenses so prospective students can evaluate the complete financial commitment and opt out if those ongoing costs are not manageable for them.
Thank you for being candid and for challenging us to improve. We recognize that clarity around lifetime access, recurring membership costs, and third-party fees is essential, and we’re sorry we did not make those distinctions clear enough in your experience.

Scam company
Scam company. Send you a "free" video, click on the link, and it's not free. It's $27.
I gave this program a multi-month best effort. As someone whose day-job is data analytics, with an MBA from a top 10 ranked program -- I'm telling you if this really worked I'd already have made money.
I practiced diligently every day to master their "gold pattern" but ultimately it doesn't work. Also, they changed the rules / pattern after two months of practicing so don't believe them -- it's not a rock solid strategy.
Finally, I didn't take the refund offered because I was lead to believe that the "unlimited" membership was life-long. They hide a subscription model in the NDA they make you sign -- after 6 months they start charged several hundred a month to your creditcard.
Don't waste your money. They're very encouraging and "nice", but they'll just "nicely" take your money in the end.

Thank you for giving the program a serious, multi-month effort. We respect your analytical background, and we’re sorry that your experience did not produce the results you expected. I am glad you were able to get a refund.
You are correct that the Gold Pattern changed while you were learning it. Our R&D showed that the earlier version was too difficult for many students, particularly beginners, to execute consistently. We understand that changing the criteria after you had spent months practicing was frustrating and made the strategy feel unstable.
In response, we spent five months conducting algorithmic and AI-assisted backtesting, followed by live R&D clinics with approximately 100 people per clinic, ranging from beginners to experienced traders. That work produced Gold Pattern 4.0, which is simpler, clearer, and based on fixed criteria so students are not continually forced to relearn the strategy. This is now the solid unchanging and easy-to-learn strategy we all enjoy.
That said, no trading strategy works for every person, and education cannot guarantee profitability. Your inability to achieve the results you wanted does not mean you lacked intelligence, discipline, or effort. It means the version of the program you experienced did not work for you, and we take that seriously.
We have since made the duration of access, renewal options, and anticipated ongoing expenses more prominent and also way less costly so customers can evaluate the full commitment before enrolling. We have also replaced the previous environment with a simpler platform and doubled our mentorship team to provide more individualized support.
Thank you for holding us accountable. We’re sorry that the program, as you experienced it, did not live up to what you believed you were purchasing.

I joined the 6 month 20 Minute Trader…
I joined the 6 month 20 Minute Trader course excited to be one of the first 25 on the webinar to receive an added benefit. However, once inside and beyond the 20 minute hype, it was clear it would require far more extensive training than sold in the webinar to earn dollars. Most troubling was that the assigned coaches were ALL still in training for months, some years, with no profits, requiring other jobs to support themselves. I did not encounter a single member or coach that was making ANY money. Quite remarkable.
So on day 6, well within the 30 day refund period, I requested a refund and was
informed that it would take 7-14 days to process, followed by another 5-7 days to credit my account dependent upon my banking institution. This triggered my inquiry into the possibility of an expedited refund. I was assured by polite underlings that "accounting" would be notified for expedition.
Yet a week or so later, I received an email from owner Jeremy Russell asking if I wanted to reconsider remaining in the program as cancelling would result in a forfeiture of a course feature available to me over the next 6 months included in the course fee. I declined, reminded him of my request for an expedited refund and asked if he might personally expedite it.
Russell did not respond to my request for personal assistance. As of today Aug 8th, 22 days post my initial refund request, the funds have finally been cleared and are available in my bank account. This was an unduly long period to wait for a refund and not a good look for Russell - the IRS is far more expedient!
On July 30th, 13 days post my refund request, I learned that accounting "approved" my refund. This was the first mention of needing an approval and it took 13 days, nearly a week post Russell's email to me to reconsider. I suspect that Russell himself is "accounting."
I used PayPal credit for the course fee of $997. However, a monthly recurring fee of $197, of which I was totally unaware as it was free for 6 months with the course, was set up for debit at the same time and not supported by PayPal. Thus, my linked checking account, used to pay my bills, was debited $997 instead of my PayPal credit. To cover this surprise unbudgeted debit I had to transfer funds from my savings. Of note: Russell has several complaint posts on monthly recurring fees.
In speaking with PayPal I inquired if there were any complaints on file regarding refunds on 20 Minute Trader and if my bank was at all at issue. Their response was "no" on my bank but an affirmative as to multiple complaints on 20 Minute Trader with no further details.
This refund process was partly extended due to banking protocols but nonetheless is by far the most drawn out encountered on a product or service in my mature and experienced life. The company refund policies and lack of transparency as to recurring future fees being set up months in advance right out of the gate are inexcusable and particularly egregious when one takes into account that this is a private business appearing to be run very much hands on by owner Jeremy Russell.
Russell's 20 Minute Trader refund policy appears to be wholly by his design and executed without exception to maximize time to take full advantage of retention of funds. Is this reflective of a morally and ethically bankrupt model?
Inside Observations:
The members and coaches with which I engaged appear to largely consist of hopeful, impressionable, vulnerable, idealistic, enthusiastic young adults with limited life or trading experience, who despite months/years of training with Russell and literally no real gains or even much real trading experience, remain determined in the predatory clutches of Russell's emphasis on endless "training" versus earning, dedicated in cult like servitude to perfecting and trusting in Russell's "formula." The mantra/narrative they share is that it will take time, more time, still more time - until one day in a galaxy far, far away they will alas attain the skills worthy to trade like Russell.
The bulk of Russell's portfolio might in fact well be membership acquisitions versus his claim by his own admission, to a fluke trading "formula" that apparently requires endless "training" to never master. The only visible evidence of a profitable 20 minute trade appears to be the one wherein your hard earned cash is traded for Russell's dubious enterprise - for at least 3 weeks!
I would encourage Russell's followers to pay attention to reviews and target this
one to go viral. Wake up and take your talents to platforms/traders where you will actually make money before the Rapture!
Russell:
Please spare readers any excuses.
Rather, take full pride of ownership in a thriving niche business model that appeals to young adults who will gleefully chase windmills for their master Russell. Bravo!
Response from 20 Minute TraderAug 31, 2026
Mr. Spector, I’m glad that you received your full refund, and I’m sorry it took so long for the money to become available to you. Twenty-two days is understandably frustrating, especially when the original purchase unexpectedly affected funds you had budgeted for other expenses.
We have never intentionally delayed a refund to benefit from retaining a customer’s money. Part of the timeline involved processing and banking procedures, but we accept responsibility for the portion that was within our control. Our communication should also have been clearer about the approval process and expected timing.
Your criticism concerning the monthly renewal is valid. Although the renewal terms appeared in the agreement, a future recurring charge should be UNMISTAKABLY CLEAR before someone enrolls, not something they discover during or after checkout.
We have since made all anticipated monthly fees, renewal terms, and third-party expenses much more prominent so prospective students know the complete financial commitment before joining.
Your statement that you did not meet a profitable member or mentor does not reflect what we see across the larger community.
We receive reports of profitable trades and account gains from both students and mentors every day.
More recently, we surveyed customers, and 68.4% of those who responded reported being profitable using the strategy. That does not guarantee that every student will succeed, nor does it invalidate the people who do not, but it does provide a broader picture than the limited group you encountered during your six days inside the program.
For clarification, our average customer is approximately 45–55 years old, rather than primarily consisting of inexperienced young adults. More importantly, our students are independent adults, and we do not want anyone to feel pressured into endless training or continued payments.
At the time you joined, we were less organized than we should have been. Since then, we have streamlined the program, reduced customer costs, replaced the confusing training environment, and doubled the size of our mentorship team. The core instruction is now finite, clearly organized, and only several hours long, although becoming proficient at trading still requires responsible practice.
We are not proud of any financial stress, confusion, or negative effect our shortcomings caused. We refunded you in full, took your criticisms seriously, and used feedback like yours to make substantial changes to the customer experience.
Thank you for raising these issues. We will continue working to improve our training and support, with the goal of helping as many students as possible become responsible and profitable traders.

Jeremy Russell HAS NO HONOR!
Jeremy Russell HAS NO HONOR!! After seeing Jeremy's short infomercial last week, I have been looking forward to participating in his live online web class, which turned out to be a two-hour sales pitch. This ended up being ok with me because I was actually interested in the system and buying the product and services that Jeremy was selling, as I felt he had some valuable trading knowledge in futures, and I knew I was getting a Free gift at the end that I was really excited about receiving. I also thought that he offered a good price for the value of everything he was offering, and I could easily afford the asking price. I wanted to take this seriously and be one of his best students with a great success story, as I was going to be working with 97k to trade with, so I thought that I would have been a good success story for him, as far as earnings go. Unfortunately, I will now have to look for another trading mentor, and I will tell you why. Jeremy is not a man of his word! You see, before the web class, he offers to give you a free gift if you stay till the end of the presentation. Then, when people start complaining about how long the presentation and sales pitch are, he reassures everyone to hang on to receive their awesome Free gift at the end. The gift, by the way, is that you get FREE 30-day access to their SPY Pattern Course, and I feel that would have been a good exchange. The problem is that you never really receive the gift because in order to get it, you have to give Jeremy your credit card number and sign up for a $197 month auto pay membership. He does give you the first 30 days for free, but still, when you tell somebody something is free, it doesn't mean you have to be on the hook financially for something else, especially when your promise was that the agreement was that you exchange your time over 2 hours watching his presentation to the end in exchange for the FREE 30-day access to the SPY Pattern Course. Jeremy, I was ready to buy everything you had to sell yesterday, and I mean the full boat of the highest levels and you would have made so much money off of me on just monthly payments alone, but when I saw you break agreements with me and 50 other people that were there, I knew that you could not be trusted and that you were a Liar. I really think this was a poor decision on your part and an intentional illegal, Unfair Business Practice that I WILL BE LOOKING INTO. You also said that you care about people and that you want to help them, so why do you stoop to this level, Jeremy? Your actions do not match your words. If I did business like this, I would feel like a scumbag and not be able to look at myself in the mirror. You seem like a nice, intelligent person, and your program looks promising, but when you cheat people, eventually it will catch up to you, and your business will start to fail, and your reputation will begin to precede you. I thought you might be a hero until we got to the end of the presentation and saw what you were really all about. I was so disappointed in you, as I really wanted to work with you and be a part of the team there. Understand that I will not work with any persons or organizations that are unethical. Please rise to the occasion and conduct yourself and your actions as a professional, and don't prey on others with a bait and switch tactic that you don't need to do, and like I said, it is considered an Unfair Business Practice if you don't believe me, ask your attorney. As for me, I will be seeking a remedy for the broken commitment and agreement that was promised regarding the free SPY Pattern Course that was never given to me. Jeremy, you did not fulfill your agreement with me. My review has been 100% honest, so don't bother responding with lies. My review regarding this experience will extend to other forums beyond this one to protect others, but I'm waiting patiently first to see if you do the right thing and regain some HONOR, Jeremy. You have not been a man of your word; so far, you break promises, you don't keep commitments, you have been dishonest, you have a questionable character, and your ethics are not in order. How do you expect people to trust you and move forward to purchase your program and become a monthly member when you don't even honor your original commitment? Let's see if you can take personal responsibility for the issue you have created with me, because right now I have lost any and all respect for you!!!

Jeremy here. Dear Jeff, thank you for your review and I appreciate that you took the time to write it. Yes, the free gift was 30 days in our mentorship club with unlimited access to help setting up your charts, your trading platform, and to master the predictable pattern. And my not-so-secret goal was that you crush it, and want to continue in the club and we could grow together for a nominal fee for our services. Mentors and such programs are costly to run, so giving someone unlimited mentorship for a full 30 days is a big expense for us and yes that whole thing is free for those that stayed till the end. I read your whole thing carefully and I was unable to figure out which part I was being dishonest about, and would love some clarity on that if you are willing. Was it the fact that to do more than 30 days would cost money? If so, I am having a hard time understanding how that is dishonest. Its beyond fair exchange for almost 24/7 on-call assistance with trading from live experts and no AI bots, plus the materials that explain it all, plus the extra tools we give (check out the other reviews for a better description of what people get). You would have had 29 days to try it out, and if you didn't like it, despite many hours of help from our team, you would have paid nothing, even though I would have paid thousands of dollars per day to the team members to assist you. If you had tried it out, and found it life changing, like many have, you would have been super happy to pay the monthly cost for that red-carpet service. And if you tried it out and found it lame and crappy, you would have cancelled and paid zero dollars. Either way, I don't feel I lied about anything, but if I did, I'd love the clarification so I can omit that from any future web classes I do. Also, let's be honest, the web class was 95% value not sales, and then at the end I asked people if they wanted to hear about our best program and almost everyone said yes. Remember that part? If they said no, I would have wrapped it up. But since I had hundreds of people say yes, I showed them a program that I think is super honorable that gives people an account trade with (so they don't have to use their one money - out of my pocket), and even offers piles of free service, in coding LIVE TRADING (watching experts trade live), which is super popular. I get tons of fulfillment personally when everyday I hear someone who's life has completely changed from learning this and making money from it. I get hundreds of messages a day about this.

Before I even attended the free…
Before I even attended the free "class", I received a text at 10:10 PM, which woke my wife up, and then I received another text about the "class" at 5:30 AM, which woke me up. Seriously people? Desperate much or just out of touch?
After reading about the recurring theme of continuous billing after cancellation, pushy upselling, lies, and exaggerations that sound like bait-and-switch tactics, I have decided to block their number and move on. Everyone loves free money, but they're not getting mine.

Hey there. Jeremy here (founder). This is horrifying, and I read this and investigated to find out what incredible bafoonery was behind you getting this treatment. Yes, I am super aggressive about making sure each person gets serviced to the max, but not violating basic common sense. I had to let the offender go today because this is unacceptable in our company. And we retrained our customer service staff to prevent and avoid this in the future. Hope you do well and really sorry for this experience.

MISLEADING: $2k upfront PLUS $197/mo after 6mos
I really loved this program, even recommended it to friends and families. I paid $2k upfront for the Gold Pattern Lessons and had access to their Discord support. I 100% agree to all the 5-star reviews here about how good the group is and their support.
The real deal breaker comes after 6 months of signing up. It will require you to a monthly subscription of $197/mo, to which I declined since I am still learning and have not been earning anything from trading yet. I lost all access to their support but the surprising thing was I also lost access to the Gold Pattern Lessons, which I paid $2k for! I would have wanted to keep on learning by rewatching the videos hoping to finally earn money from trading. But it is no longer possible. I reached out to the team and this is the response I received: "All the accesses, including the training content, are granted by the paid subscription. All the terms and conditions were specified in the NDA you signed to start the program! - Ximena Rusinque, 20-Minute Trader Team." And yes, that's with exclamation point. It was like day and night treatment now that I decided I cannot pay $197/mo.
This was never mentioned to us though after signing up, despite the several Q&A's and daily Discord communication. When they market this to you, you are made to believe you will atleast get to keep the lessons online. People learn differently especially if you have other priorities in life. We could've atleast been warned of losing content after 6mos if you won't pay $197/mo after.
So unless you are confident you'll be a successful trader in 6 months time or you have $197/mo to pay for monthly subscriptions, sad to say I no longer recommend this group. Really disappointing since I consider them my trading family for 6 months.

Jeremy R here, Founder of 20-Minute trader. The message she was sent was obviously a mistake made by our team...and was a genuine mistake (the weekend temp agent for this is foreign language and thought an exclamation point was a way of being encouraging and cheerful...lol). Not our usual thing, but hey! at least its not a bot! We messed up on this so we granted her continued access to the materials for an extended period of time and she was super thankful. The program she signed up for says that course access ends when the subscription ends but we need to be clearer about it, so we are updating our stuff to make that obvious. Jer

Feels Like a Cash Grab – Would Not Recommend
I joined 20-Minute Trader hoping to build consistency and pass a combine quickly, but the experience has been incredibly disappointing.
The strategy they teach is nothing more than scalping, with a win rate that barely hovers around 50/50. To make matters worse, they constantly change their system, leaving students stuck relearning new approaches every few weeks. This creates confusion rather than building confidence.
When trades inevitably don’t go well (which happens often), the mentors bend over backwards to blame students for not “executing the strategy correctly” instead of acknowledging flaws in the system itself.
The program requires a steep upfront cost, followed by a $200/month membership fee. Once you stop paying, all access is revoked—even to the basic training videos you paid thousands of dollars for upfront. Many students spend over 6 months trying to pass a single combine, and from what I’ve seen, the success rate is likely under 10%.
They also spend an excessive amount of time on mindset, journaling, and rules—plus tolerating students flooding the chat with ChatGPT articles—which does little to actually improve results or the program’s effectiveness.
Another red flag: they frequently ask students to leave positive reviews on Trustpilot, sometimes even while those same students are still struggling. This creates a very misleading picture of the program’s success.
The founder, Jeremy, often mentions some “game-changing” app or widget he’s investing heavily in, but it never seems to materialize. Frankly, it feels like he relies more on membership fees than trading profits to sustain himself.
Overall, this program feels like a cash grab. I would not recommend it to anyone serious about building a trading career.
EDIT FOR THE RESPONSE: Their response is a LIE. No communication happened from their end. When I paid for the course "I was buying the course" and getting 6-month free mentorship which had monthly subscription to continue. When I stopped paying access to course and mentorship both were removed. Further they are putting fake responses to show they have "satisfied" the customer somehow which is not the reality. Whoever they are talking about in their response getting additional 30-days is not me and if that guy could not pass a combine in 6 months another 30 days are not going to do much with a weak strategy but good luck!
Response from 20 Minute TraderJul 19, 2025
Jeremy here (founder). We spoke to the customer and figured out what happened and where we went wrong. We solved it his satisfaction and he sent us this in reply: Thanks for reaching out so quickly and thank you for taking my feedback seriously to help future students! I know you and the whole 20MT team are constantly trying to improve the program and support so thank you!
And yes, having access to the core materials for the next 30 days would be great. Thank you! My goal is to pass my combine in the next month and rejoin the club in August so this would be very helpful toward that goal!
Thanks for everything and have a great weekend!
